Model: Alien Higgs 3 (Strip Type Double-sided Adhesive)
This is a strip-typed RFID tag which is suitable to hide at the spine of the books. The size of the tag is 104mm x 5mm. The tag can be detected by the RFID antenna in 3 meters (depends on the antenna and RFID reader with 27dBm). It is tested by Impinj R2000 with 5dBi antenna. This RFID tag is using Alien Higgs 3. Alien Higgs 3 is a highly integrated, 896-bit, single chip UHF RFID tag IC. The chips conform to the EPC Global Class 1 Gen 2 specifications and provides state-of-art performance for a broad range of applications.
The tags are able to be worked with any UHF RFID Class 1 Gen 2 equipment, such as RFID Desk, Self Check Kiosk, RFID Security Gate and etc.

RFID TAG (HF) - ICODE SLIX
The ICODE SLIX IC is a dedicated chip for intelligent label applications such as libraries, product authentication in different industries such as pharmaceutical, medical devices and alcohol, as well as production management in different areas of the industry. This IC is the third generation of a product family of smart label ICs based on the ISO standards ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO/IEC 18000-3, prolonging a successful story of NXP® in the field of vicinity identification systems.
The ICODE system offers the possibility of operating labels simultaneously in the field of the reader antenna (anti-collision). It is designed for long range applications.
Contactless energy and data transfer
Whenever connected to a very simple and easy-to-produce type of antenna (as a result of the 13.56 MHz carrier frequency) made out of a few windings printed, winded, etched, or punched coil, the ICODE SLIX IC can be operated without line of sight up to a distance of 90cm (security gate width). No battery is needed. When the smart label is positioned in the field of an interrogator antenna, the high-speed RF communication interface enables data to be transmitted up to 53 kbit/s.
Anti-collision
An intelligent anti-collision function enables several tags to operate in the field simultaneously. The anti-collision algorithm selects each tag individually and ensures that the execution of a transaction with a selected tag is performed correctly without data corruption resulting from other tags in the field.
Security and privacy aspects
- Unique IDentifier (UID) – The UID cannot be altered and guarantees the uniqueness of each label.
- Password protected EAS and AFI functionality – The 32-bit EAS/AFI password enables the addressed label to be set in a mode where the EAS status and the AFI value can only be changed if the correct EAS/AFI password is transmitted to the label within the mentioned commands.

UHF RFID Reader

The UHF RFID Desk (Model No.: ETE-RF3000) is a new product from The Edge System series. It is tested and certified by SIRIM and MCMC Malaysia!
It is used to read the accession number of the books and activate/ deactivate the EAS bit. This desk is able to perform circulation transaction: check-in and check-out for books and collection in an effective method (RF method, without scanning using barcode scanner) and it is able to process (borrow, return and renew) several books per transaction (10 books).
In addition, it is also operate as the RFID tagging station, where librarian can perform barcode-to-RFID conversion towards UHF RFID tags. UHF RFID Security Gate System
Model: ETE-RFID-G81
The UHF RFID security gate system is used to detect the EAS bits of the books which are passing through the gates, the EAS bits’ configuration of the UHF tag can be altered. If the EAS bits of the books are still activated, the alarm of the gate will be alerted when the books are passing through the gate. If the EAS bits of the tag is not deactivated by the reader, the alarm of the gate will be alerted when the books are passing through the gate.
The module using for the security gate system is also tested by SIRIM dan certified by MCMC.

HF RFID Security Gate System
The RFID security gate system is used to detect the EAS bit/ AFI mode of the tags within the books that are passing through the gates. If the EAS bits/ AFI mode of the books are still activated, the alarm of the gate will be alerted when the books are passing through the gate.
The security gate is adopted acrylic and metal plate material, integrated reader and three-dimension intelligent controller with high performance and power. It can read label in three-dimension direction and support AFI and EAS modes, with people counter inside this model can be used widely for protection of library, files room, clothes store, warehouse and personnel management etc.

The Library Selfcheck Kiosk comes with 2 models: RFID-only (HF or UHF) and Hybrid (EM and UHF RFID or EM and HF RFID), is a self-service machine where user can interact with the the library system for circulation activities. Our Selfcheck Kiosk is ready and come with the Selfcheck User Software, Staff Interaction System (Administration Staff Module) and the Middleware where user can borrow, return and renew books and collection to the library by themselves in an easy and friendly user interface. With the integrated technology comprising of EM and RFID (HF or UHF) on different models, the Selfcheck Kiosk helps libraries to ease the circulation workload and at the same time to improve the productivity and customer services. In every transaction, the Selfcheck Kiosk will snap the patron’s image automatically for security and accuracy purposes. Every transaction will be stored in the database and providing accuracy and conveniences information to make sure the books and collections are checked out and return correctly. The entire activity of the kiosk will be recorded and store into the database for reports & statistics purposes. These records can be generated according to desired hour, day, month or year.
Selfcheck Kiosk RFID-only (HF or UHF) – Selfcheck Kiosk RFID-only comes with RFID reader/ writer is suitable for libraries that operating in RFID-mode only. The RFID reader is configurable for UHF or HF RFID tags. Every circulation process are performed by reading to the RFID tags that is placed on the book via the RFID reader (need not barcode scanning) through the Selfcheck User Interface with the ILS via the middleware and activate/ deactivate the EAS bit (security bit) of the books and collections with the RFID reader/ writer, and this RFID only automation should be paired with RFID security gate. UHF RFID HANDHELD STOCK-TAKE READER
Model: ETE-RF33ST
The UHF RFID Handheld Stock-Take Reader (Model No: ETE-RF33ST) offers a high efficiency RFID reader engine for high RF sensitivity and able to achieve greater accuracy, higher throughput while providing a longer reading range to the tags. It is an industrial rugged model offering handheld and ‘gun-style’ reader mainly for intensive tasks for libraries in its stock-take/ inventory checking on books and collections.
The handheld reader is able to record the scanned accession numbers into a text file (.txt format). You can email the text file to your inbox. The text file can submit to Inventory Module of Library Management System to check the overall books’ status, such as on-shelf, checked out, lost, damaged, withdrawn, not for loan and etc.

Other than checking for inventory status, this ETE-RF33ST is able to search the book by inserting the accession number. If the accession number if found, a notification sound will alert you.

BOOKDROP

We are providing a full solution of bookdrop for library, there are Wall Mounted Bookdrop and Mobile Standalone Bookdrop. This bookdrop is able to operate 24/7 to receive the books from the patrons and it can be linked with the library system via our Middleware (SIP2 or NCIP). These bookdrops can be divided also into RFID model and Barcode model to suit the requirement of the user.
Wall Mounted Bookdrop (HF RFID or UHF RFID)
We also providing Mobile Standalone Bookdrop, the bookdrop is having a single bin to collect the books, same bin as the Wall Mounted Bookdrop. Each bin is able to collect 150 – 200 books. The functions of this bookdrop is same as Wall Mounted Bookdrop, except it can only carry single bin. The advantage of having this bookdrop is can place at anywhere and easy for relocation.
