First City University College Library’s KOHA:

First City University College chooses KOHA open source library management system for their Library! The implementation started by January with the our effort in data migration from previous Library System to KOHA ILS. The system is hosted on cloud. Previous system does not have the Serial module. Having KOHA for the library giving them an ease to catalogue their serial materials. Besides that, University decided to use the KOHA OPAC as their Library portal where they required our team to create few more pages on it. For all in all, it’s one of their enjoyment of having KOHA as their library management system after all! The system is up and live to access on 10 March 2020. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and Malaysia’s Movement Control Order (MCO), OPAC only make known to their users on mid of May 2020.
